Lead PI, Dean and Professor, Faculty of Forestry, University of Toronto. He is the Director of the Centre for Biocomposites and Biomaterials Processing in the Faculty of Forestry and cross-appointed to theDepartments of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry, and Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. A world leader in industrial bionanocomposite, Dr. Sain has published 4 edited books, over 400 publications, 9 patents, 21patent applications and is responsible for 4 spin-off companies.
Dr. Sain provides advice to many international organizations in strategies for the development of green materials. He will bring his proven leadership, expertise in green composites and bionanocomposites and his experience in knowledge transfer to commercialization to make this multidimensional research study a success.
